Ah, that time of year, where Cinderella isn't just a fairy tale, but something that several teams from all over the nation hope to be in the NCAA Men's Tournament. After an exciting week of conference tournaments, it's time to let the money flow in all those office pools [jpg brackets and .pdf brackets]. Does one go with a top seed like Illinois, or a sleeper pick. What top seed falls in the first two rounds? So many questions! The NCAA Tournament starts tomorrow with the play-in game and begins in earnest on Thursday.
In New York City, the only taste of March Madness we had was the Big East Tournament, which St. John's didn't even participate in due to self-imposed penalties (not related to curfew-breaking strip club visits). "Big time" college ball will return to New York later this month in the form of the NIT.
The FDU Knights from Teaneck, NJ make the trip to Indianapolis to take on top-seeded Illinois, a team with only one loss on the season. The Knights should be back on campus by Friday.
Who do you like to win the tournament?
