If you used a credit card to pick up a tasty pumpkin sandwich at any of the 'wichcraft locations this fall you may want to eagle-eye your statement. The chainlet revealed a credit card security breach that affected all of its New York City locations and its outpost in San Francisco.
A statement from the restaurant [pdf] reveals that an unauthorized party gained access to their system between August 11th and October 2nd of this year. Customer information including names, credit card numbers, security codes and expiration dates may have been accessed. The restaurant urges customers who may have been affected to review their credit report for any unauthorized access.
The Tom Colicchio-founded company says that if customers have questions or would like additional information regarding the breach they should call (866) 942-4272, ext. 6, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.
