In the market for a local-themed 2013 calendar but worry that the men of the FDNY might be too distracting? You are in luck. New York Street Food has gone and made a sizzling Food Truck Calendar, and a portion of the money from each one sold actually helps out street vendors!
For every $15 calendar sold New York Street Food will be donating $1 to the fine folks at The Street Vendor Project at the Urban Justice Center—which, among other good things, runs the Vendy Awards. As for the calendar itself? It features 12 food trucks in glorious 12" x 12" color along with info on each truck (like their cuisine and Twitter handle). Our beloved Cinnamon Snail, for instance, is heating up the month of April.
Though if you want something a little bit foodie and a little bit sexier you might want to hold out. Though they haven't confirmed it'll happen, we've got our fingers crossed that the team at L'asso will be making another sexy, sexy food calendar for 2013...
