A daring robber returned to Astoria's Parisi Bakery on two separate occasions, stealing money from the bakery's cash register. Surveillance video captured footage of the man, who broke into the bakery at 2:40 a.m. on December 27th and again just after midnight on New Year's Day. On his two visits, he stole a combined $1,900 from the store.

Police are hoping to identify and locate the man, who appears to wear glasses.

We reached out to the bakery for comment and we'll update if we hear back. Parisi, which makes incredible hand-rolled breads, has been operating out of the neighborhood for 46 years.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
