Fried dough with powdered sugar, or marinara? Back in my day, that's what street fair fare was all about. Today, things are dreadfully different. Behold, the weirdest goddamn thing we saw at The Feast of San Gennaro this weekend:

It's like one of those old Pound Puppy toys, but more lifeless. It's like a dog fetus, with a spoon jabbed into its back. It's like this 50,000 year old mummified frozen wolf puppy from the Yukon. It's simply too realistic to be something to eat, with its dead, frozen puppy dog eyes staring up at you.

The "treat" was created by Frozen Ice Cream Shop and costs $10; our man on the scene this weekend, Scott Lynch, tells us it was a hit, you sick fucks. He added that it comes in vanilla and strawberry, as well. Look for this sign on Mulberry between Prince and Spring.

We'll have more hits from San Gennaro coming up later today, stay tuned...
