Pretzel necklaces at the ready, folks, because it's time once again to drink all the beer. The 4th annual Brooklyn Pour, one of the Village Voice's fun—if jam packed—food events, returns to Skylight One Hanson in Fort Greene September 27th. With it come dozens of craft beer purveyors pouring samples of some of their brews, which they'll offer up to you in copious quantities just for the price of admission. Pro tip: eat something beforehand.

There are nearly 40 breweries already on the roster, including local rollers like Bronx Brewery, Brooklyn Brew Shop and Rockaway Brewing Company. It's all well and good to support your neighbors but don't miss out on some farther flung entries like Stevens Point out of Wisconsin, Boulder Beer Company from Colorado and Shipyard Brewing Company coming down from Portland, Maine.

Breweries stock between two to four of the beers, typically, and will happily engage with the imbiber about their process and the differences between the brews. If that sounds too school-time for you don't worry; you can also just go and drink and hopefully find a new beer to seek out at the grocery store.

Tickets for the event are on sale now, with regular admission tickets going for $55, which gives you three hours of tasting time. Since the event does get a bit cramped as the day goes on, we recommend getting in line on the earlier side or springing for Early Entry ($65) or VIP ($85), which each come with a set of additional perks including early access.
