Boozy ice creams and popsicles have become a popular choice for grown ups trying to cool down on hot summer nights. Over at Pergola in the Flatiron, on Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. they have a new pop-up "adult lemonade stand" serving Petal Pops from FrutaPOP made with elderflower, lemonade and spiked with some Tito's Vodka. The pretty pops, which are also made with edible flowers, are available for $8 alongside Chandon 187ml bottles and Wolffer Estate Cider No.139 Fridays through Labor Day.

The verdant beer garden at legendary South Slope venue Grand Prospect Hall reopens for the season on Friday. Beginning at 4 p.m., stop by the Brooklyn Bavarian Biergarten for German and New York-based beers, wine, and sangria. The food options include standard German fare including sausages and soft pretzels, plus schnitzel, potato pancakes, mozzarella sticks, burgers, and pierogies. The Biergarten opens at 4 p.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends.

On Sunday, The Museum at Eldridge Street hosts their annual signature event: the Egg Rolls, Egg Creams & Empanadas Festival. Celebrating the Jewish, Chinese and Puerto Rican communities that call the Lower East Side home, the festival offers folk art, live musical performances, mah jongg, yarmulke making, Puerto Rican mask making and lots of food. Learn to make kreplach, dumplings and empanadas, then purchase kosher egg rolls, egg creams and empanadas. The event is free to enter.
