Last week we mentioned we would be premiering the original series No Your City, created by Nicolas Heller. This is the first installment of the 8-part series, which along the way will introduce you to some pretty unique New Yorkers. We're starting with Shaun, who operates a rickshaw in a Spider-Man costume (and has been for years). Like any superhero worth his salt, he's had his run-ins with the authorities, but says "once I came down to the Village, I never had a problem, the cops would turn their lights on and yell 'Yo Spider-Man do your thing!"

He likens what he does to an off-off-Broadway show, but says "you can't show up and expect me to be there, you just have to bump into me, in some part of the city. I think that's special."

Follow No Your City on Twitter and Instagram.
