Jimmy Fallon is doing everything he can to transition into the Bill Murray phase of his career early: an inebriated Fallon was spotted at famed West Village bar gay bar Marie's Crisis this past weekend knocking back shots and singing along with the crowd.
Fallon, who was wearing a Yankees hat, even got on top of the much-loved piano at one point and sang "Theme from Greatest American Hero (Believe It or Not)" while doing his best impression of Michelle Pfeiffer from The Fabulous Baker Boys. Maybe he's just hitting the bottle extra hard since realizing he blew it with Nicole Kidman?
Watch it below.
For some comparison, here's Pfeiffer doing her thing to "Makin' Whoopee."
But that's not all! Fallon also made patrons sing Katy Perry's "Walking On AIr."
And he took to the piano for "Piano Man."
TMZ also has footage of Fallon that same night leading the bar in a singalong of "Summer Nights" from Grease. You can watch that below.
Last year, Fallon was spotted out at local bars whooping it up with regulars and buying shots for patrons.
It all makes Fallon seem incredibly generous, fun-loving, approachable...it's almost as if he's trying a little too hard...like he's trying to hide something, or make up for some wrong...some way that he's wronged New Yorkers...and that Yankees hat...he wasn't trying to cover his face, and yet he kept fiddling with the hat...as if to bring attention to it...all the pieces matter...
That's it: Fallon is still trying to apologize for Fever Pitch.
