It's been seven years since Tenacious D's lukewarm box-office debut, but Kyle Gass and Jack Black were never about the silver screen: The D has always been about Rock (and short, crude, hilarious vignettes). But the duo is back with a new album, Rize Of The Fenix, and will be at the Hammerstein Ballroom on June 28 (tickets go on sale Friday). Wonder why it took the two so long? Kyle went insane and "Hollywood Jack" was busy working with Scorsese.
Their latest video is NSFW but you'll probably watch it anyway.
When word got around that Tenacious D was at SXSW, we literally watched people flee a High Times weed tasting to get in line. Here's a taste of their new material, "Roadie."
