Is it a sign of an increasingly sterile New York that this video of two rats tearing out others' tracheas is even noteworthy at all? Maybe, but here we are. What makes this particular tableau stand out is the splendid soundtrack to which they dance (murder), evoking the violent days of olde when the whole family would pack into Kit Burns' Rat Pit to watch a couple of rodents or dogs duke it out until the weaker party's inglorious demise.
What do rats fight over? Here's short list.
1. Love
2. Money
3. Territory
4. Ideology
5. Justice
6. Banana peels
What would you fight a rat for? Tell us in the comments!
