The gem amongst these old home movies—which were just uploaded yesterday and all taken around NYC in 1970—is the Coney Island one. In there, you'll see Nathan's, an NYPD officer eating a donut, and the old Shore Theater marquee featuring XXX films Fairy Tale Adult and Let's Play Doctor.
The uploader, Foods of the World, says: "I just got out of the ARMY on Aug 8th and my Vietnam brother Ted Zabohonski joined me on a trip to NY to shoot some film for my entrance review at The School of Visual Arts." Below, his footage from Central Park, the subway ride to Coney Island, and crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. The Central Park one is particularly festive... but that's how things were there in the 1970s.
