At first glance today's Google Doodle may just look like a series of cutesy Valentine's Day hearts, there to taunt the unlucky in love every time they go to search for places to order delivery for dinner alone tonight, or look for the lyrics to that song... you know, the one you listened to with your first boyfriend as you clumsily put your hands on each other and optimistically thought this was forever? You can hear it in your head, whenever you allow yourself to go back in time—it sounds like an echo, stuck in a shoebox in the sub-basement of your memory. ANYWAY, the Google Doodle is actually for all of us, the single and the attached... because each heart, if clicked on tenderly, will tell you a story. And not just any story, they are all real life tales taken from This American Life.
