Today's blizzard is tomorrow's New Yorker cover. Well, maybe not tomorrow—it hits newsstands Monday, and will probably wander into your mailbox sometime on Thursday, but in the virtual cyberworld, we can immediately admire the cover art, illustrated by Bruce McCall. Isn't it charming? "I grew up in Canada, where blizzards were common and schools never closed because of them," says McCall. "People are starting to forget how much fun it can be to be up to your knees in snow, though it’s different in cities."
