Since reopening earlier this year, the iconic TWA Flight Center has brought so many beautiful and sexy amenities to JFK Airport, including an infinity pool, a retro sunken lounge, and a fabulous time capsule filled with both influencers and weary travelers. Today, they announced that another cool addition is coming soon: a seasonal ice skating rink that's sure to make your JFK experience feel just a little bit more like Midtown.

“Normally, when you hear about ice at the airport, it’s not good news,” says Tyler Morse, CEO and Managing Partner of MCR/MORSE Development, the owner-operator of the TWA Hotel. “But in this case, people can get excited about a frozen tarmac at JFK—we’re creating the Rockefeller Center of Queens.”

The custom 56-by-44-foot Runway Rink—which is made from 3,500 gallons of "good old frozen NYC tap water!"—will be located on the tarmac around the hotel's 1958 Lockheed Constellation Connie airplane-turned-cocktail lounge. It will open on November 30th, with shows inspired by Connie’s history, and will operate seven days a week through the end of February.

Admission is $15 for adults, and $10 for kids under 12. Ice skates can be rented for $10 (kids under 12 rent for $8). Skating aids for children are available. It's open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 9p.m.; Friday from 4 to 10 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can get more info about tickets and special events here.

The iconic Eero Saarinen TWA Flight Center—which originally opened in 1962 and shut down in 2001—reopened in May to much fanfare.
