Beyoncé fans have spent months prepping outfits, buying cowboy hats on Amazon and rehearsing choreography gleaned from YouTube clips of previous tour stops, and now the time has come: The "Renaissance" World Tour finally arrives in the tristate area this weekend. Whether you managed to score tickets to the Saturday and Sunday night gigs at MetLife Stadium or will be watching an inevitable Instagram livestream, you can start celebrating "Renaissance" weekend early at these festive events in New York and New Jersey.

The Beyoncé Experience

Dress up in your favorite Queen Bey guise and head to New Brunswick, New Jersey, on Friday night for “The Beyoncé Experience,” organized by DIY drag collective La Gatita. It's a night of drag performances and dancing to DJ sets dedicated to Queen Bey. Among the performers set to hit the stage are Acid Reflux, Supernova and MX. Media. For details about tickets and the venue's location, visit here.

'Renaissance' Cruise at Pier 40

It’s hard to imagine anything better than listening to Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” album all the way through live, but hearing the whole album while on a boat on a warm summer night may top it. To celebrate the first anniversary of Beyoncé's latest release, Move Forward Music will host a cruise on the Hudson River where the entire album will be played — without any skips! Boarding starts at 8 p.m. at the Hornblower Serenity. For ticket information, go here.

'Renaissance: A Beyoncé Tribute Party'

Not to be outdone by other "Renaissance" parties, Bar Schimmi in Williamsburg is celebrating Queen Bey’s entire catalog. At “Renaissance: A Beyoncé Tribute Party” you’ll hear solo hits like “Crazy in Love,” “Baby Boy,” “Check On It” and “Formation,” as well as Destiny’s Child classics including “Survivor,” “Independent Women Part 1” and “Lose My Breath.” All of that will precede listening the entire “Renaissance” album front-to-back with a packed crowd. For ticket information, go here.

'Renaissance Night'

If you didn’t get enough of a fix on Friday night, DJ Miss Milan and Dada Cozmic will be behind the decks again on Saturday night, bringing the "Renaissance" experience to Baby’s All Right in Williamsburg. Dress up in your most "Alien Superstar" outfit, and show off your best dance moves on the stage. Get your tickets here.

'The Beyhive Pre-Concert Tailgate Renaissance World Tour'

Long before the "Renaissance" World Tour hits the stage at MetLife Stadium on Saturday night, fans will be gathering outside for a tailgate party. From 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., people can assemble in the MetLife parking lot for food, drinks and vibes. The ticketed event, organized by the Instant Party Company, offers “unlimited food and beverages” and a DJ spinning nothing but Beyoncé. Check out the menu and order tickets here.
