Don't say we didn't warn you about this (multiple times): the 11th Annual No Pants Subway Ride is being thrown by Improv Everywhere today. Hundreds of pants-hating straphangers will bum-rush the subway starting at 3 p.m., showing off their pantaloons and skivvies with reckless controlled abandon.

The annual tradition of purposeful de-pantsing in wintertime is now celebrated in over 50 cities worldwide. You can revisit last year's NYC event here, and the very first No Pants ride here. As ever, Improve Everywhere asks that you, "Please leave your cameras at home and resist the temptation to snap photos with your iPhone, etc. while the event is happening....During the ride we really want people to enjoy the experience of participating rather than documenting."

If you want to participate, there are six meeting points this year which you can see below (see all the info about this year's event here). If you happen to break that photos rule, feel free to send pics to [email protected], or tag them as "Gothamist" on Flickr.
