Weekend At Bernie's, the 1989 dark comedy classic that features Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman vacationing with their dead boss, is coming to life this month. It's the 25th anniversary of the movie and you'll be able to celebrate in Rockaway...

For their latest over-the-top movie event, the fantastic folks at BBQ Films are screening the movie at Playland Motel, and also creating a live sequel with a new character they've created: Bernie's son, Bernie Lomax Jr, a 20-something founder of startup BernBux.com (yeah, go ahead and click that).

The event will go down on July 25th, and you can buy tickets NOW (these events sell out fast). Did we mention Terry Kiser will be there? You know you want a selfie with Bernie.
