<p>So, how about <a href="http://gothamist.com/2011/05/16/rain_today_rain_tomorrow_rain_forev.php">this weather</a>? Today we've compiled a couple of <a href="http://gothamist.com/tags/michelgondry">Michel Gondry</a>'s greatest hits, which you can watch on Netflix Instant while you're huddled under your blanket escaping the gray skies and falling raindrops. In fact, why not build a cardboard and blanket fort and hunker down in there?</p>

Is there anything better to pair up with a maudlin mood than Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? You could go visit Clementine's house in Brooklyn, or head off to Montauk... but that would require stepping out in the rain, so we suggest revisiting the movie instead (which you can do here). By the way, whatever happened to those researchers at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center working on a real life Lacuna, Inc.?

The Science of Sleep brought Charlotte Gainsbourg back to the big screen to co-star with Gael GarcÃa Bernal in Gondry's fantastical film. Bernal plays Stéphane Miroux, "a man whose vivid dreams and imagination often interfere with his ability to interact with reality." As surrealistic and naturalistic elements overlap, it's difficult to tell what's a dream and what's reality. And that scene where Stéphane's hands become huge? It was inspired by a recurring nightmare Gondry had as a child! Check out the trailer below, and you can watch the whole thing right here.
