This weekend we had Halloween, the World Series, the NYC Marathon, and the end of Daylight Savings time. But none of those things were as important as the 17th Annual Great PUPkin Dog Costume Contest in Fort Greene Park. This year, the event was held on Halloween proper, and thousands attended to see humans use their beloved pets as puppets in order to garner attention and awards.

This event attracts hundreds of dog participants every year, and the work that goes into the costumes raises the bar for... dog costume contests everywhere. Click through and find an Ewok, some Pizza Rats, some Trumps, some Deflategates, and a working piano.
