Yesterday, McGolrick Park in Greenpoint wasn't just the home for the pooping statue—it was host to the third annual Bathtub Race! Photographer Katie Sokoler was there to document the event, which around 100 people attended. But she told us there were some rule changes that added some drama to the proceedings: no one was allowed to run. "So these two teams were racing, but trying to speed walk. Then it started turning into rapid walk, and then right before the line one team started running...and they were disqualified. It was a weird, strolling race," she added. Click through above, and check out all the trophies, pirate tubs and water balloons.
