Porn viewing habits may be man's most closely held secret, but Pornhub has gone ahead and collected your—yes, your—search data and amassed this handy map, so you'll never have to wonder whether you're the only one conducting furious searches for "anita queen" and "hentai" again. (Hint: You are NOT alone.)
New Yorkers prefer "college," "massage" and "MILF," surprisingly pedestrian choices considering that we also sought out more BDSM porn than any other state in the nation. At 10 minutes and 18 seconds, we also enjoy the sixth lowest average visit duration, losing (or winning?) out to our less efficient neighbors Vermont, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
The geographical trends are also enticing. Let's see, Californians prefer "Asian," southerners are into "ebony," and Montanans enjoy "compilation," which, after a series of unseemly searches on my work computer, I learned are "videos containing a collection of several short clips of one specific sexual act, fetish or genre shown back to back. These videos are useful when an individual want to view a certain type of pornography but does not care to view full scenes, i.e. foreplay to cumshot." Ugh, society these days—no attention span.
Hilariously, Hawaii's top three searches are Asian, creampie and...Hawaii. Utah has a mysterious blank spot on its map, despite having clear favorites outlined in the "Top 3 Search Terms" section. The whole thing is worth a good, hard look—check it out below.
No matter what, though, it looks as though we as a nation have a long way to go before we approach anything half as weird as the shit they're into in Iceland.
