On view for only two more nights, Public Art Fund’s newest exhibition by New York based artist Tony Oursler is a must-see this Halloween season. Tear of the Cloud is free and open to the public from 7 pm - 10pm and transforms Riverside Park South into an eerie, ghostly landscape that features a series of new videos projected on the unusual "canvas" of the landmarked 69th Street Transfer Bridge gantry, the flowing waters of the Hudson River, and the surrounding landscape.
Inspired by the lesser known narratives of the Hudson River and Valley region —including The Headless Horseman, Grandmaster Flash, The Manhattan Project, IBM’s Deep Blue Knight Sacrifice, and more—these new projections are paired with an otherworldly soundscape featuring new music by Kim Gordon.
