2005_01_artsthermals.jpgThere are some great shows coming up that will get you from Valentine's Day to St. Patricks Day, but you're going to want to buy tickets SOON, before they sell out. Gothamist is particularly looking forward to the Thermals [pictured, reading Nabokov - hott!] @ Knitting Factory, as well as our own Movable Hype 2 at the same venue. And if you don't know who the Kaiser Chiefs are, you will, so just buy tickets now. Remember when everyone was in love with Franz Ferdinand last year? This is like the same thing, so jump on the hipster bandwagon or prepare to be silently judged. Personally we don't think they're that great, but want to check them out for ourselves, since we do like this video. Also check out the last sell outs post for more info on future shows we're not relisting here.

-Rogue Wave and Dirty on Purpose @ Mercury Lounge February 7th
-Plug Awards with Ted Leo, RJD2 & more @ Webster Hall February 9th
-Tibet House Benefit @ Carnegie Hall February 9th [Philip Glass, Lou Reed, Ray Davies, Patti Smith, Black Keys, Nellie McKay, Trey Anastasio, et al.]

-French Kicks & Calla @ Bowery February 17th
-The Music & Kasabian @ Irving Plaza February 17th
-Bloc Party @ Motherfucker/Roxy February 20th (note from Motherfucker: Make sure you work a look!)
-Luna @ Bowery February 27th [this is the EARLY show, the others have all sold out. This is your last chance to see Luna!]
-Blonde Redhead & Interpol @ Radio City Music Hall March 1st and March 2nd
-Lou Barlow @ Mercury Lounge March 1st
-Clem Snide @ Bowery March 5th
-VHS or Beta and Ambulance @ Bowery March 7th
