Murray on Letterman in the '90s.
Late night television is a flat circle. As it began, so shall Letterman's Late Show run end: with Bill Murray. Well, Bill Murray next Tuesday, followed by a surprise-filled final show on Wednesday.
Prior to Murray's appearance, Tom Hanks and Eddie Vedder will be a part of the show on Monday. This is Hanks's 60th time across from Letterman, according to THR, compared to Murray's 44 times.
Tonight, some more of the old guard will return, with George Clooney and Tom Waits... but first, let's go back to the beginning—here's Murray's first appearance on Letterman in 1982:
