I have been inside of my home for 45 days and no longer know what kind of weather is happening outside. Inside my apartment, it's whatever weather I want it to be—I rotate through caftans and stirrup leggings and sweaters and tank tops and shawls with such frequency it's like seasonal temperatures have ceased to exist. In here, it's always just isolation season. Which is like if you combined a nice September afternoon with the temperatures I feel would exist inside of The Matrix.
However, my sources on the Outside tell me that today, April 23rd, 2020, it's snowing. Or it snowed. Maybe it stopped? My sources are back inside now, so if you have a lead on the outside leave a note in the comments.
As proof, I offer this, a snowflake delicately perched atop the arm of Gothamist's Jen Chung around 8:30 this morning:
Confirmed snow, 4/23/20, NYC.

And here, another colleague, David Cruz, captured more snowflakes falling in NYC (along with ELO's "Evil Woman" pumping through the speakers):
This meteorologist in Omaha believes it to be significant.
In conclusion, today is Thursday, April 23rd, and it snowed.
