The NYC Taxi Drivers Calendar is back with its 2016 edition, chock full of all the meter fare beefcake New Yorkers have come to rely on during their late night commutes.
For the third consecutive year, the calendar has brought together a dozen of the city's "most scintillating and good-humored yellow cab drivers" to spread awareness of the smoldering sexuality lurking within the banana-colored vehicles which drive our drunk asses home (and also charity: a portion of each calendar sale goes to University Settlement, America’s oldest settlement house).
Once you look through all these photos, you will surely be excited to slip a little extra tip to every cabbie you come across. Also, you can probably answer a question that has been bugging us since last year: what is sex?
Is it that thing where you gently place leaves on your nipples while making predatory eye contact with the camera?
Is it that thing where you're a full-time magician at heart, but can only practice your trade on the weekends?
Does sex happen when you carry weights in the trunk of a vehicle without any license plates?
Is sex the feeling one gets when they notice a pink bra lovingly resting on the cab's rear view mirror and then you start coughing because your driver is smoking a cigar and the windows are all up and you have a smoke allergy and the dizziness starts overwhelming you?
Can women be sex too? Or only if they are plugged into a nearby outlet?
Ultimately, sex is a matter of variables so infinite that stepping back for even a moment to contemplate how we use each other's bodies is truly terrifying. Bury your face in the black void of this cabbie's tank top in the same way the infinite darkness of space will one day bury you.
