Spring weather is just around the corner, so it's time to draw your blackout curtains, pull tighter your most fetid sweatsuit, and gather around the tee-vee set: Netflix Instant is unleashing another wave of mediocre cinema for your isolated viewing pleasure.
They're not all bad: Chinatown is a classic, Terminator is an ingenious sci-fi trailblazer, and The Yards...is a movie that...exists. Here's the list:

- Barton Fink
- Braveheart
- Chinatown
- Click
- Close Encounters of the Third Kind
- Coneheads
- Death Wish
- Death Wish 2
- The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
- Dragonslayer
- The English Patient
- The Fifth Element
- Gattaca
- Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
- Inventing the Abbotts
- Jumanji
- A League of Their Own
- Look Who’s Talking Now
- The Man With One Red Shoe
- Mean Girls
- The Muppets Take Manhattan
- Night of the Comet
- Rocky
- The Running Man
- Scary Movie 3′
- See No Evil, Hear No Evil
- Sense and Sensibility
- Survival of the Dead
- The Terminator
- Wild Things 2
- The Yards
It's also time to say goodbye to another set of films; films you swore you'd watch before sighing heavily and hitting "replay" on Friends With Kids. In particular, watch Pet Sematary before it's too late, OK? You know you'll never pay actual cash money to see some dead animatronic brat named Gage (not a name) mirthfully murder his neglectful family with a scalpel. Watch Pi and imagine the air in the Paramount board room the moment it fully dawned on its top execs that they'd just given that guy $130 million to make a biblical film. "Tense" comes to mind; so does "sweaty."
