New Yorkers can get a taste of Noma, the famed Michelin three-star restaurant in Copenhagen, at various spots across the city this week.

The restaurant’s chef and co-owner René Redzepi is partnering with several New York City restaurants and organizations – including Superiority Burger and the Union Square farmers market – to host pop-ups with the restaurant group’s packaged goods branch, Noma Projects.

The events will showcase items from Noma’s fermentation lab and test kitchen, including a dashi reduction, corn yuzu hot sauce, wild rose vinegar and mushroom garum (the fermented koji preparation the restaurant has made famous, using different base ingredients).

Be warned, there may be lines aplenty. But here’s the schedule if you want to take your chances:

Superiority Burger Tuesday, April 16

The week’s food-focused events kick off Tuesday with a pop-up at the reopened full-service location of Superiority Burger in Alphabet City.

A perennial of “best-of” lists and famous for its vegan options, the restaurant will be serving four a la carte additions to their normal menu that incorporate Noma’s products, including a salad, a dessert and a side dish and other bites.

The restaurant’s events manager Melissa Quayle said she expects a line of people outside before the 5 p.m. opening.

“If anyone says the word 'Noma,' you will automatically have a crowd,” Quayle said. “But we’ll be able to serve a lot of people.”

The menu selections are first-come, first-served until supplies run out.

Pop Up Grocer Wednesday, April 17

Pop Up Grocer, the Greenwich Village store that features a rotating selection of interesting and unusual snacks and ingredients like Brooklyn Delhi chutneys or Mama Teav’s hot garlic, is the perfect match for Noma Projects’ line of packaged goods like its mushroom garum, wild rose vinegar and dashi reduction.

Pop Up Grocer is at 205 Bleecker St., and will be stocking Noma’s products all day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They range from $25 to $50, according to Noma Projects’ website.

Dashi Okume Thursday, April 18

Greenpoint’s enormous industrial space dedicated to a wide range of ingredients for dashi, the Japanese broth at the heart of many dishes, will be hosting Noma Projects’ collaborators and products on Thursday, according to general manager Shohei Miyajima.

“Noma is very influenced by dashi and umami, with their dashi reduction and mushroom garum,” Miyajima said.

Miyajima said they’re still working out what food samples will be part of the collaboration, though he believes it will include special-made Aebleskiver, a sort of Danish pastry that’s similar in appearance to Japanese takoyaki (but sweet instead of savory, with no octopus).

Dashi Okume is at 50 Norman Ave., and will be hosting the collaboration from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Union Square Greenmarket Friday, April 19

On Friday, Noma Projects will team up with longtime vendor Norwich Meadows Farm to showcase spring produce prepared with Noma Projects’ line of products.

The Union Square farmers market wraps around the top of the park, with the bulk of vendors located along 17th Street and Union Square West. It opens at 8 a.m., though the Noma collaboration will begin at 10 a.m.
