First of all, Vogue has never hired a black photographer to shoot its cover.

That's just one of the things in HuffPost's scoop about the magazine's September issue, and even if you could not care less about the fashion glossy, the rest is pretty interesting, too.

Yashar Ali reports that editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has, pretty shockingly, given Beyoncé "unprecedented control over the cover of the upcoming September issue." One of her first orders of business was hiring a black photographer, Tyler Mitchell, to shoot the cover — a first in the publication’s 126-year history. (The last time Beyoncé was on the September cover was just three years ago, and for that she was shot by Mario Testino, just one of the many men recently accused of sexual misconduct.)

In the past, Beyonce has been known to ask publications to take down unflattering photos of her. So it's not too surprising that she also got it in her Vogue contract that she will control all of "the photos of her inside the magazine, and the captions, which she has written herself and are in long-form." The captions are in lieu of a traditional interview, which she did not grant the publication (she didn't grant an interview in 2015 either).

Also coming to the pages of Vogue: Adult film star and Trump lover-turned-adversary Stormy Daniels, who will make her Vogue debut in either September or October; Ali reports she was photographed by Annie Leibovitz.

Some sources say this could be Wintour's last September issue. Others say you'll have to wrench that magazine from her cold dead hands.
