The turntables of the 1960s gave way to more portable modes of listening to music. The Walkman cassette player gave the next generation the freedom of a mobile soundtrack, only to be replaced by smaller mp3 devices. London, 1967. Beatlemania is in full effect, the "Me" generation is in its prime. But what will happen when the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll fade away and these boomers have babies of their own? Love, Love, Love is a "riveting and exhilarating" (The Guardian) dark comedy that spans more than four decades and lays bare the consequences of growing older without growing up.
Now playing at the Laura Pels Theatre—Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre through December 18. Tickets start at $89. Theatergoers who are 18-35 can join Hiptix, Roundabout's low-price ticket program. It’s free to join and gets you $25 tickets to Roundabout’s fall productions: Love, Love, Love; Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical, and The Cherry Orchard.
