Summer is almost here, which means it's time to say no to those decadent ice cream treats and start trying to fit in some exercise anywhere and anytime you can. If you're looking for a role model, look no further than the rat in the video below, who was spotted trying to get some cardio in at Grand Central today.
Andrew Chen took the video around 3:30 p.m. Friday on the lower level of Grand Central. Watch below and take notes if you really wanna get that ripped rat bod—but make sure you watch until the end for the real kicker to this workout.
"After it was kicked it scurried toward the Magnolia Bakery line and people didn't even notice," Chen noted.
A video of a rat fruitlessly climbing an escalator in the wrong direction would make for a pretty awe-inspiring metaphor for the human experience. But a video of a rat fruitlessly climbing an escalator in the wrong direction and then being KICKED in the rat teeth by the universe is an Expanding Brain meme-level awe-inspiring metaphor.
For the record: it is unkind to kicks rats, although all talk of morality is thrown out when they are crawling up your body.
