The critically acclaimed documentary that chronicles one of "the most architecturally, politically, and emotionally complex" construction projects in recent history, 16 Acres, is now on Netflix. The doc highlights the politics and drama around the rebuilding of Ground Zero, and the 16 acres that now house 1WTC and the National September 11th Memorial and Museum. Or as the tagline sums it up: "Sacred Ground. Prime Real Estate. Battle Royale."

The film came out in 2012, when 1WTC was already steadily growing into the clouds.
