A Brooklyn teenager has accused two NYPD detectives of raping her in a Chipotle parking lot, in lieu of arresting her after a traffic stop in Coney Island.
The Post reports that an 18-year-old is alleging that a pair of anti-drug cops pulled over her and two men on September 15th for a traffic stop in Calvert Vaux Park in Coney Island, and found prescription drugs in the car. The cops let the men go, but forced the woman to strip in what they said was a search for more drugs.
The woman claims that the officers then handcuffed her and threatened to take her to a local precinct, but said they would let her go in exchange for sex. She then says one of the cops raped her and she was forced to perform oral sex on both of the officers.
"There was zero consent,” the woman's attorney Michael David told the paper. "The cops were over 6 feet tall. She’s very petite, like 5-2 and maybe 100 pounds. There’s nothing she could do."
The woman went to NYU Langone Hospital after the rape, according to the Daily Mail, and also told a friend about it in addition to the police. Sources with the NYPD claimed that the sex acts happened, but told the Post they were consensual.
