The man wanted to exposing his groin to female subway riders is apparently the same man who has been previously arrested for other flashing incidents on the subway. A past victim told WCBS 2, "Wow, it’s the same guy. He’s back and he’s doing the same thing."

On Friday, the NYPD released surveillance footage of the suspect accused of lifting up his camouflage shirt and showing his naked groin—he wasn't wearing any pants or underwear—at three women on two different R trains on August 16th, as well as one on September 5th.

The past victim saw the news coverage and called the police, to say it looked like Kenneth Hoyt. In an interview with WCBS 2, she said, "[The police] said everyone — all his old victims — are blowing up the tip line because this has happened to so many people. But we just don’t know what rock he’s hiding under now."

She also recalled her encounter with Hoyt: "He was shifting in his seat, and I look down, and he was literally inches from me. So I was completely terrified. It looked like he was reaching out. I didn’t know what to do."

According to WCBS 2, she reported the incident to the police, but "months after the woman’s traumatizing train ride, charges against Hoyt were dropped on a technicality.... Reports from 2007, say prosecutors were too late filing the paperwork to go to trial and the case was dismissed. CBS2 asked the Manhattan District Attorney’s office about the case, but was told it could not be discussed."

Hoyt, 52, is a convicted sex offender. He was convicted of a non-felony sex offense with a 13-year-old girl in 1987. The Post reports, "Hoyt has at least 16 prior arrests ranging from public lewdness to stalking, prostitution, harassment and acting in a manner injurious to a child, police sources said." His arrest record also reaches out of state: He was arrested in 2009 for allegedly stalking two girls and taken into custody in 2010 for allegedly masturbating in Los Angeles. Hoyt has also been charged with failing to register as a sex offender.

Hoyt is also a porn actor (extremely NSFW link). When Hoyt was arrested in 2006, it was because one of his victims noticed his jacket advertised a porn website and checked the URL.

The victim told WCBS 2 she's worried: "I’m riding the train line now with young kids, and I don’t want to be looking over my shoulder."

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS or for Spanish 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.

If you see or experience sexual misconduct in the subway (this includes seeing a masturbator, being groped, being grinded on, etc.), you can report it to the MTA and police on this website. There's also a place for you to upload photos and/or video. Don't let the perverts win.
