A man attacked a woman, seemingly at random, at a Manhattan subway stop earlier this week, and cops are now asking the public for help finding him.

On May 4, police say that the man in the video above punched a woman in the side of the head around 7:30 a.m. at the F train stop at 34th Street and 6th Avenue. The woman suffered bruises and swelling to her face, but declined treatment at the scene.

Cops say the suspect is about 5'8", 140lbs and was wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and yellow boots.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
