Beginning this weekend: two new brunches! First up, Pig Bleecker in the Village is dropping dishes like Buttermilk Waffles with Smoked & Fried Chicken Thigh with honey butter, Linguini Cacio e Pepe with a slow-cooked egg, and Pig Bleecker Hash with fried eggs. Over in Park Slope, Gristmill's got it going on with The Loxness Knotster, an everything garlic knot with smoked salmon, cream cheese, ricotta and dill; and wood-fired French Toast made with warthog bread, maple, bourbon and blueberry agrodolce.

Black Tap (Facebook)

Black Tap and its ludicrous milkshakes are staging a kitchen takeover at Humbolt & Jackson in Williamsburg on Saturday. From 2 p.m. until 11 p.m. (or until the blender gives out), head to Humbolt Street for three burgers (including one vegan option) and three of their signature milkshakes ($15) in Cookie Shake, Brooklyn Blackout Shake and Cookies n’ Cream Supreme flavors. Just...be careful!

Uncover Brooklyn's sudsy roots at the Brooklyn’s Brewing History Trolley Tour beginning at 2 p.m. at Green-Wood (yes, the cemetery). On the trolley tour, beer historian Chris Heuberger and Green-Wood historian Jeff Richman will point out "beer-related points of interest," which includes stops with beer connected industries including baseball and immigration. Say hi to Charles Feltman while you're there. Tickets $30.

Pre-plan your Sunday hangover, then heal yourself at the 4th annual Bloody Mary Fest happening at Grand Prospect Hall. If you have the stomach for it, you'll be able to sample bloodies from 11 different restaurants and brands include Korean spot Insa and Congress Bar. There'll be some food snacks on hand but it's a safe bet that you should eat something before committing to three hours of brunchy booze. Tickets $50 - $84.
