Yesterday's weather was, to go with an understatement, not what you usually think of for a February day. While the Mets kicked off their spring training schedule (with a win) in sunny Florida, New Yorkers enjoyed basically the same weather that the boys in orange and blue did. And, shrugging off the feeling that something was deeply wrong, everyone took advantage of the creepily warm weather as we all kind of told ourselves we might as well enjoy this potential harbinger of our demise.
Or I don't know, maybe this could be the early spring predicted in the divided Groundhog Day prophesy. Anyway, enjoy these pictures of New Yorkers, like two year old Achilles hanging out in his favorite spot to play with trucks, enjoying the warmth.
