The Muslim teenager who was allegedly attacked and called a "fucking terrorist" by a group of men on the subway earlier this month was reported missing on Thursday. She was found today. [Update, December 14, 2016: Her story appears to be a hoax; police have now charged her with making up the account.]

Yasmin Seweid, 18, was last seen leaving her home in New Hyde Park on Wednesday, Nassau County police told CBS New York. She was wearing a black jacket, blue sweater, black yoga pants, and a black headscarf. She was reportedly also carrying a bag of clothing.

Her father reported her missing on Thursday, prompting an investigation from the Nassau County PD. Sources told the Post that Seweid hadn't shown up to her classes at Baruch since December 2nd. According to CBS New York, she was found on Saturday.

On December 1st, Seweid said she was harassed by three men while waiting for the uptown-bound 6 train at the 23rd Street station. The men allegedly screamed Donald Trump's name at her, called her a "fucking terrorist" and told her "you don't belong here" and "get the hell out of the country" before trying to remove her hijab.

"No matter how 'cultured' or 'Americanized' I am, these people don't see me as an American," Seweid wrote on Facebook after the alleged incident.

Seweid's neighbor Carol Zanzonico told NBC New York that she was badly affected by the train incident. "I felt terrible so I went and bought her a bouquet of flowers and wrote a letter to her. They are wonderful people, they really are. She is a sweetheart," the neighbor said.
