Police are looking for two suspects who stabbed three men after they stopped to break up a fight outside a Brooklyn bar this weekend.
The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday outside El Tequilero Night Club on Coney Island Avenue in Midwood. The three victims (two 27-year-olds and a 30-year-old) were leaving the club when they reportedly spotted two women fighting. As they intervened, the two suspects got out of a car and attacked them.
The suspects kicked, punched and stabbed the victims: the 30-year-old victim was stabbed once in the stomach, one of the 27-year-old victims was stabbed in the back, and the other 27-year-old victim was stabbed twice in the shoulder. All three were taken to local hospitals in critical but stable condition.
Police released surveillance footage of the suspects (see above), and describe the first one as 20 to 25 years old; he was last seen wearing a green shirt, black pants, black sneakers, a black baseball cap and he had on a black backpack. The second suspect is also described as 20 to 25 years old; he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black sneakers and dark colored jean shorts.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
