There's something wonderful about eating and drinking under warm blue skies, and now that the rain has passed it's the perfect time to grab a lobster claw, some sake, and get outside. This week is packing some fantastic seafood-heavy, Asian and Italian-inspired culinary events, so grab your calendar and favorite fork because it's time to make plans.

If your carb cravings weren’t sated by last week’s pizza-ception, make sure to head over to a Vic’s pizza pop-up hosted by Ends Meat on Monday. Vic’s head chef Hillary Sterling will be taking over the butcher shop and slinging Roman-style pies topped with salumi from Ends Meat’s head butcher John Ratliff at Ends Meat's in Sunset Park . Varieties include white pizza with saucisson, red pizza with nduja, and classic pizza with pecorino—and each pie is just $5 a pound.

Carmine's.

Also on Monday, Carmine's is kicking off their annual Italian Clambake special, which will be taking place every Monday and Tuesday throughout the summer. Take advantage of the recent reprieve from last week's cold, dreary weather by chowing down on huge portions of lobster, mussels, and other quintessential summer seafood.

Grilled octopus, shrimp bisque, and pork spare ribs are just three of the dishes you can indulge in at Maharlika’s ten-course Filipino feast on Tuesday night. Beginning at 8 p.m., Maharlika’s owner and head chef Miguel Trinidad will be cooking up authentic Pinoy fare, and discussing the dishes’ ingredients and his personal food stories with guests all night long. Purchase tickets here.

Eat and drink for a good cause at the 9th annual STREETS Eats Benefit at the new ICE at Brookfield Place on Wednesday night. Fourteen chefs, from restaurants including Café Boulud and Kuma Inn, will be offering their interpretations of “street” food from various parts of the world. Plus, an open bar manned by some of the city’s top mixologists will ensure that you always have a cocktail or beer in hand (it’s for the kids!). Purchase tickets here.
