There are now six outlets to stuff your body full of cereal milk soft serve, compost cookies and crack pie with the new Chelsea location of Milk Bar. Christina Tosi's sugar empire has settled on 8th Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets—the same block as David Chang's Momofuku Nishi—for its newest shop, which they designed with the LOT-EK studio. The brand's signature pink scroll adorns the indoor counter walls, with another counter with a window for street service.
The confetti cookies have been baked up for opening celebrations and Tosi told Eater this location will offer $1 cups of her cereal milk soft serve for opening day. The James Beard Award-winning chef said she was "taking a nod from the McDonald's playbook." Except with way better food.
