[UPDATE BELOW] ALERT ALERT ALERT: After yesterday's delicious #IceTheBern success in Union Square, Ben & Jerry's founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield will be handing out FREE Bernie Sanders-themed ice cream in Washington Square Park from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. today:
Jerry & I had such a good time scooping FREE Ice Cream for Bernie Sanders yesterday in #NYC, that we're doing it again...
Posted by Yo Ben Cohen on Friday, April 1, 2016
The ice cream is mint chocolate chip flavored, and it is free. That's all you need to know. GOGOGOGOGOGOGO.
Update 3:12 p.m.: The bad news is, you might have to sign up to volunteer for Bernie if you want the ice cream. "It's different at every event, depending on the Bernie staff -- but that is what happened yesterday," a spokesperson tells us. "I believe they will be doing that again today."
Sigh, nothing in life is free.
