Among the many things you should probably wait to do until you get home—clip your nails, pop your partner's pimples, watch porn—we can now add "shaving your head during rush hour" to the list. Watch below, but be aware that the sight of this man dry shaving his head may induce nails-on-the-chalkboard-like shivers down your spine.
Our tipster told us she watched in horror as the man went to town on his head during a morning rush hour C train commute today. "He is continually shaving his head with a disposable razor, checking the razor occasionally and making sure he gets behind his ears," she said. "He was doing this when I boarded the train, and continued for the entire time I was on it, from 72nd Street to 34th Street."
The woman sitting next to the man looks like she has a serious case of Weltschmerz. "Only one other woman and I expressed amazement—everyone else would not even look at him (who can blame them, really)," Schiff added. "This is right down there with people I have seen flossing their teeth."
It may be a small comfort, but at least he left less detritus for subway cleaners than certain performance artists.
