LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, Kendrick Lamar, The National, and many more will headline the first ever Panorama Festival, planned for July on Randalls Island this summer. AEG Live, the promoter behind Coachella, settled on the Randalls Island site after the NYC Parks Department denied them a permit for Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens.

The three day festival, scheduled for the weekend of July 23rd, will come less than two months after the Governors Ball festival at the same location—that long-running fest will be headlined this year by Kanye West, Beck, and The Strokes. The Electric Zoo Festival will also return to Randalls Island again this year, over Labor Day weekend.

Panorama's lineup will also feature A$AP Rocky and Mike D of the Beastie Boys, Sufjan Stevens, Silversun Pickups, and Grace Potter, among many others. Radiohead was rumored to be a contender for the festival, but it appears that was just a pipe dream.

Panorama Festival promoters are trying to distinguish the event from the increasingly crowded music festival field by promising an advanced technology theme, including an interactive art installation called the Future Lab and a partnership with The Verge, a tech website. Tickets start at $369 for the weekend, and will go on sale this Friday, March 4th at 12 p.m.
