Behold, the Court Square City View Tower, a 79-story, 963-feet-tall glass megatower that will reflect so much sunlight it will be impossible to look directly at Queens County.
The Court Square City View Tower is being planned for the site at 23-15 44th Drive in Long Island City and will dwarf CitiGroup’s One Court Square by over 300 feet. The cloud-skewering complex will encompass 759,412 square feet and include 774 apartments. Sorry Queens Plaza Park, but you'll have to settle for second-tallest (in Queens!).

From NY YIMBY:
The ground floor will host 19,721 square feet of retail, followed by a garage on the second floor and only one apartment plus amenity spaces on the third floor. The next three stories will have smaller apartments, ranging from 24 to 32 units per floor. The number of units dwindles as floors increase, dropping to 11 units on each of the next 30 stories and wrapping up with just three penthouse apartments apiece on 76th through 78th floors.

There you have it. 79 stories of uninspired Windex subsidy that will leave New York City's residents uninspired for generations to come. They sure don't make skyscrapers like they used to, but at least they don't make them like this (yet).
