Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band previously announced several NYC-area dates on The River Tour 2016, dates which you almost certainly didn't get tickets for thanks either to scalpers or snow conditions. But Bruce has heard your cries and has now expanded the U.S. leg of the tour, both to make up the cancelled MSG show and to add two dates at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The January 24th date at Madison Square Garden, which was cancelled due to the blizzard, will now take place March 28th. (Tickets for the original date will be honored on the new night.) In addition, the band will hit Barclays Center on April 23rd and 25th. Tickets for those shows are on sale Friday January 29th at 11 a.m. There are also a smattering of other U.S. dates, including Baltimore and University Park, PA, in case you think you're feeling up for a little road trip for The Boss.

Because Springsteen is a good guy, he offered up a free download of the band's January 19th show in Chicago to fans for two days. This was the show where he playing "Take It Easy" in tribute to Glenn Frey (see below), as opposed to the first show of the tour when he played "Rebel Rebel" in honor of David Bowie.

For more Bruce, check out two performances from SNL last month below (and yes, he does look a little like he is trying to open a jar), and read our highly accurate and brilliantly written list of every Bruce Springsteen album ranked.
