At the risk of spoiling a delightful surprise, we are duty-bound to inform the general public that this Sunday, January 10th, has been declared "No Pants Subway Ride" day by those craaaazy mavericks at Improv Everywhere. Yes, half-dressed flash mobs are still a thing in 2016, and we still hate them. Improv is easy!

As usual, Improv Everywhere has announced rules to follow when you ride the subway in your underwear with a bunch of other people also wearing underwear. Yes, those who wish to participate must be "willing to take pants off on subway" and they must "able to keep a straight face about it." Strangely, there is no requirement for participants to undergo rigorous psychoanalysis.

So if you are the kind of crazy, rule-breaking maverick inclined to spend a January afternoon riding the subway with leg flesh exposed, all the details you need are here. Yes, the after-party is at Webster Hall, and this stunt would be extra zany if everyone in attendance ate butterfish for lunch.
