Cops are looking for a man who raped and robbed a woman who was jogging in East River Park in Manhattan last night.

Police say the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. last night when the 26-year-old victim was running in the park near Jackson Street on the Lower East Side. She was attacked by the assailant, who grabbed her by the hair and dragged her into the park's amphitheater, where he raped her.

The attacker then stole her credit card and cellphone before fleeing. The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in stable condition.

Cops describe the suspect as "a 220 pound man with dreadlocks."

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then entering TIP577. All calls are kept strictly confidential.
