Bill Murray connoisseur Bill Murray has a Bill Murray holiday special coming out on Netflix this winter. The aptly titled A Very Murray Christmas, directed and co-written by Sofia Coppola with Murray and Mitch Glazer, will premiere on December 3rd, but you can get your first tease of it in the video below. That includes a taste of Murray and Miley Cyrus duetting on "Let It Snow."

Here is the official Netflix description of the special, which has a very meta narrative:

This winter, Bill Murray brings an extra-special dose of holiday cheer to Netflix with the premiere of an all-star musically-driven holiday special, A Very Murray Christmas. Set inside New York City’s iconic Carlyle Hotel, A Very Murray Christmas opens with Murray preparing to host a live, international holiday broadcast. After a blizzard shuts down the production, he makes the best of the situation by singing and celebrating with friends, hotel employees and anyone else who drops by.

Regarding the special—which sounds a whole lot like Stephen Colbert's similarly-themed Xmas spectacular a few years back—Murray previously said, “We’re going to do it like a little movie. It won’t have a format, but it’s going to have music. It will have texture. It will have threads through it that are writing. There will be prose."

George Clooney, who you can see holding Miley in the clip, told Access Hollywood (via Vanity Fair) he greatly enjoyed working with Cyrus: "I’m telling you [she was] fantastic and fun and a real pro. And Bill Murray and I had drinks a few nights ago and he was just talking about how impressed he was as an entertainer and also just as a—just in general as a pro, how professional she was. I really liked her."

We also can say with some assurance that Coppola had a good time making the special: when asked by Empire Online what was he "best ever day on-set," she responded, "When Bill Murray is there."

Along with Murray, Miley and Clooney, the special will also include appearances from Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Julie White, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis, Phoenix, Frederic Moulin, Rashida Jones, and more. We pray that the ghost of Miles Davis is one of those "and more."
